Redwood City, CA – September 2011 — September 2011
LTL Welcomes New Partner Kevin Bringuel
LTL is proud to announce that Kevin Bringuel has joined the firm as a partner. He will focus his practice on complex business and intellectual property litigation, “white collar” criminal defense, and trials.
Kevin was formerly associated with Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, where he specialized in complex commercial litigation (including intellectual property) as well as “white collar” criminal defense. Following Quinn Emanuel, Kevin served for four years as a Trial Attorney at the Federal Defenders of San Diego, and subsequently served as a Staff Attorney at the Habeas Corpus Resource Center in San Francisco from 2005 to 2011. These experiences have shaped Kevin into an experienced trial lawyer, with a significant number of jury trials under his belt. Kevin has also become a recognized specialist in managing and investigating large, complex cases.
As a trial attorney, Kevin has first-chaired eleven trials to verdict. Kevin has also handled more than fourteen appeals, with seven Ninth Circuit arguments. Kevin has achieved several appellate reversals, including two “Grant, Vacate, Remand” orders from the U.S. Supreme Court. He received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1997, and a B.A., Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 1993.
Said partner James Lee, “We feel incredibly fortunate to have Kevin join us as we continue to build our firm as a top trial firm in California and beyond.”
