Overview

For more than a decade, Matthew has worked with businesses and institutions to help them navigate California’s labor and employment laws, as well as warranty contracts, insurance and trade. Clients recognize Matthew as a responsive and trusted advisor who works closely with management, in-house counsel, and other stakeholders to find effective ways to prevent and resolve disputes. Matthew has won defense verdicts for businesses and management in federal and state courts, and prevailed in cases filed with the EEOC and the California Labor Commissioner. In addition to labor and employment, Matthew’s practice has included commercial real estate disputes, intellectual property issues, and consumer actions brought under the Song-Beverly Act, the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act, California’s Unfair Competition Law (UCL), and California’s Consumer Legal Remedies Act (CLRA).
