Tiffany is a senior counsel in the firm’s intellectual property, employment, and commercial litigation groups. Tiffany has managed cases at all levels of litigation, from the pleading stage through trial and arbitration and at the appellate level, in both state and federal courts. Tiffany has successfully represented clients in a broad range of intellectual property disputes, from enforcement campaigns to trademark and copyright infringement disputes and anti-cybersquatting matters. In addition to IP matters, Tiffany has successfully represented clients in business litigation, including in partnership disputes, breach of contract and fraud disputes, unfair competition cases and antitrust matters. Tiffany has also represented clients in numerous employment disputes, including wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation and wage, and hour matters.
Trials, Arbitrations, and Appeals
Pinkette Clothing, Inc. v. Cosmetic Warriors Limited (2018)—Co-chaired and won 9th Circuit trademark appeal affirming CDCAL’s ruling in our client’s favor.
Pinkette Clothing, Inc. v. Cosmetic Warriors Limited (2017)—Co-chaired trial on behalf of plaintiff/counter-defendant in complex trademark dispute where defendant/counter-claimant sought $30M in damages; obtained a complete defense verdict for plaintiff/counter-defendant after the 6-day jury and bench trial in CDCAL.
Gonzalez v. Southern California Permanente Medical Group (2017)—Co-chaired multi-week jury trial of one of California’s first associational disability lawsuits under the Fair Employment & Housing Act, resulting in a split verdict decision and limiting Plaintiff to 6% of requested damages.
Turanli Elektronik Ltd. V. SanDisk International, Ltd. (2016)—Co-chaired AAA arbitration defending SanDisk against unfair competition claims; obtained a complete defense verdict.
Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences v. GoDaddy.com, Inc. (2015)—Member of trial team representing AMPAS in an anti-cybersquatting bench trial in CDCAL.
