Biography
- Prior to joining LTL Attorneys’ recovery practice group, William Yen co-founded Sapient Law Group, P.C., a boutique Pasadena-based law firm focused on several core practice areas intended to serve the Asian demographic. In so doing, William accumulated a wealth of knowledge across many disciplines, which gives him the unique ability to represent his clients effectively in a variety of circumstances and settings. From 2018 to 2020, Thomson Reuters recognized William as a “Super Lawyers Rising Star,” and he has also been recognized as a “Lawyer of Distinction” from 2018 to 2020.
Representative Matters
- Served as outside general counsel for Inc. 5000 corporation, including its U.S. subsidiaries and affiliates.
- Served as outside general counsel for preeminent Ethereum cryptocurrency storage platform.
- Served as outside general counsel for franchisee of one of the largest automotive repair companies in California and Nevada.
- Settled shareholder dispute between two of the most influential players in the cryptocurrency space.
- Reached successful settlements for former employees of a Fortune 500 company.
- Provided advice and counsel to numerous aggrieved EB-5 investors and global migration agents.
- Currently represents numerous high- and ultra-high net worth individuals and business owners in the context of creating and implementing asset protection measures and tax mitigation strategies.
