A JAMS arbitrator recently awarded real properties and businesses worth $3 million to Lee & Tran’s client. The client filed suit for breach of fiduciary duty and breach of oral joint venture agreement arising out of a successful food business and related properties. After the parties agreed to arbitration, the arbitrator issued a twenty page award in favor of the Firm’s client after a two week long arbitration hearing.
