The Firm recently won another anti-SLAPP motion to dismiss in Los Angeles Superior Court. Plaintiff sought an injunction for a civil harassment stay away order against our client for words and actions taken during a deposition. We moved to dismiss the request based upon the interference of defendant’s right to litigate the action freely. After extensive briefing on the issue and oral argument, the Court agreed with our motion and dismissed the injunction request. The Court also granted LTL $22,015 in attorney’s fees as the prevailing party.
