LTL Recovers $27 Million In Insurance Bad Faith Claim Against Allianz

Los Angeles, CA — September 2010

LTL successfully recovers full value of $27 million insurance policy claim against Allianz.

LTL’s client properly and timely filed the necessary forms with the carrier Allianz for a $27 million policy claim. For several weeks, Allianz refused to state whether it would honor the insurance policy claim, and repeatedly eluded the client’s demand for proper explanations.

Left with no other options, the client retained LTL. James Lee, the lead partner on the matter, immediately and aggressively implemented LTL’s strategy. Due to his extensive knowledge of insurance bad faith law, Mr. Lee was able to get Allianz to pay the client’s claim in full, while avoiding further costly litigation for the client. LTL recovered the full $27 million policy value and arranged for the immediate payment of the sum to the client.

“Insurance carriers have a duty of good faith and fair dealing when it comes to dealing with their insureds,” said James Lee, “and we will vigorously fight on behalf of clients who believe their insurance claims were denied in bad faith.”
