Firm Retained in Corporate Control Contest Involving Famous Jeans Company

Los Angeles, CA – June 2010

Lee Tran & Liang was recently retained by a founding member of Siwyâ„¢ Denim jeans brand in a corporate control dispute over the company. In addition to defending claims that the co-founding member breached her fiduciary duties, the Firm is asserting claims for breach of fiduciary duties, trademark infringement, and other claims as well. The case is currently venued before the United States District Court, Central District of California.

Firm Retained in Corporate Control Contest Over Manufacturer of Guitars for “Guitar Hero” and “Rock Band”

The Firm was recently retained by a manufacturer for Guitar Hero–one of the top-selling video games of all time–in an ongoing corporate control contest. The Firm was brought in to bring counterclaims for breach of fiduciary duties against purported shareholders and directors who have engaged in direct competition with the company.
